Honda Civic Type R Will Finally Debut in the US

The power behind the wheel is just spectacular. Drivers will be able to push this car to up to a staggering 306 horsepower. This will be assisted by an equally astounding 295 pounds per feet of torque. Type R will be featuring a manual six-speed transmission.
The Upgrades
The release of the year will feature a wide range of upgrades from its predecessor. Some of the key additions and alterations under the hood include an all-new front suspension. In addition to the Dual-Axis front suspension, you will be able to enjoy the exquisite four-wheel dampers that are adaptive to perform best in every situation, adaptive steering, and a lot more.
The bodyweight has also been reduced by 35 pounds. In addition, the body of this automobile is also stiffened by around 45%. These minute changes have resulted in the Type R’s better aerodynamics.
Going into a little more technical aspects of the car, Honda Type R 2017 also features hardware that is updated and custom designed to help the vehicle cut corners with better precision. It will also include a limited-slip differential, an electric power steering, and brakes that are composed of 4-pot Brembo aluminum calipers.
Interior
Type R 2017 will come with elevated levels of comfort and entertainment within the cabin. The standard features of the car will include a 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto compatibility, Apple Carplay, Pandora, and an audio system with 12 speakers, among a few others.
The sales of Honda Civic Type R 2017 are expected to begin later in spring. It will come out at a $30,000 to $40,000 mark.
